Project Manager – Las Vegas, NV

H2O Environmental a 24-hour Spill Emergency Response, Waste Management, Industrial Cleaning (Hydro-blasting, Confined Space Entry, and Tank Cleaning), Bio Clean-ups, and Soil Remediation company is growing and looking for a Project Manager to join our team!  

Project Managers direct the deployment of personnel and resources in the field in response to customer needs while meeting regulatory and company requirements.

Job Summary:

  • Ensures Health and Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all time.
  • Identify and prioritize tasks and activities involved in the day-to-day operations of each project and commitment.
  • Develop cost estimates, setup plans, and safety procedures on a per-project basis.
  • Ensure the safety and regulatory compliance of all work crews.
  • Develop and maintain an Emergency Response Incident plan for rapid execution and protection of personal property and the environment.
  • Manage the inventory, characterization, packaging, profiling, and manifesting of all hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
  • Perform waste management guidance for clients as needed.
  • Supervise onsite field personnel and maintain professional working relationships
  • Completion of all in field paperwork, pictures and completely close the loops.
  • Meet and hold company ethics and standards.
  • Review and interpret SDS sheets.
  • Understand the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment and when it is required to be worn.
  • Review and interpret SDS sheets.
  • Respond and be available for frequent on-call emergency responses and after hours’ projects.
  • Successfully complete all required training and certifications which include: HAZWOPER, MSHA, OSHA, E-RAIL, Blood Borne Pathogens, Air Purifying Respirators, Confined Space Entry/Rescue, etc.
  • May be exposed to moderate noise levels (i.e. machinery, heavy equipment).
  • May be present around non-hazardous and hazardous waste during fieldwork.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Degree from four-year accredited college or equivalent work experience.
  • Must have experience in the environmental field, including industrial cleaning and waste knowledge.
  • Must have working knowledge of applicable regulations to the industry.
  • Must know how to handle, package, and transport non-hazardous and hazardous materials.
  • Must have well-developed written and oral communication skills.
  • Must possess strong attention to detail.
  • Must possess impeccable quality and performance standards.
  • Must possess organizational skills.
  • Must be able to travel and schedule overnight stays approximately 15-20 days throughout the year.
  • Must possess leadership skills to motivate personnel to strive for work excellence.
  • Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 20 pounds.
